Pannikin of pale buff earthenware, standing on a concave base, with pronounced interior kick, spreading sides, bulbous at the shoulder, then rising vertically, ending in a broad lip rim; horizontal loop handle moulded roughly to body below lip rim; thin glaze to base, speckled with brown; patches of thin, slightly greenish glaze with brown speckling to exterior body with one drip of yellow glaze and extensive areas of blackened scorching; interior glazed throughout with a mustard yellow glaze, darkened and crazed in patches with extensive cracking.
