Fuddling-cup
Fuddling-cup, buff coloured earthenware, composed of three small cups moulded together and communicating inside, each cup with waisted spreading foot-rim, globular body and cylindrical neck, to each cup two extended loop handles to either side of the body which are intertwined with those of the cup next to it; covered all over apart from the bases of the cups with a pinky-white tin-glaze, one cup is painted in blue with to the body the initial 'T', another cup is painted in blue with to the body the initial 'E', the third cup is painted in blue with to the body the inscription '1641'.
