Figure of the Victor Emmanuel II, the King of Sardinia, white earthenware with a strong blue/grey crackle glaze, standing on an egg shaped base inscribed in gilt raised capitals. Figure largely white and gilt, in court uniform, black shoes, white trousers, sword by left leg, white belt and belt jacket, white sash across chest from right shoulder decorated with gilt sprigging, gilt medals on chest, bands of tassels/cord? hanging from right shoulder, long black beard, high complexion, black hair. Standing with left leg slightly bent and with left hand on hip, right arm resting on a pedestal draped with a robe with a black spotted fur edge, simulating ermine. Top part of body discoloured yellow.
