Book

Book 'Jenny lives with Eric and Martin', 1987. Originally 'Mette bor hos Morten og Erik', it is a black-and-white picture book by the Danish author Susanne Bösche, first published in Danish in 1981. It was first published in English by The Gay Men's Press in 1983, with this copy being from the 1987 second impression. It was perhaps the first English-language children's book to discuss male homosexuality.

A newspaper report in 1986 about the book being provided to a school library in London led to a controversy that made a major contribution towards the passing of the Section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988.
