Early Medieval human remains
These are the poorly preserved remains of an adult of indeterminate gender.
They are from Burial Phase D: 436-772 AD AD
They were buried in an extended supine simple grave oriented West-East.
The individual had enthesophytes, which are bony growths or spurs where tendons and ligaments connect with bone. They're caused by injury to the soft tissue or stress from repetetive physical activity. This individual's enthesophytes were on their left ulna, at the elbow, indicating some sort of repetetive strain from extending their elbow, similar to tennis elbow.
The burial is associated with SK30
