Starboard broadside view of S.S. GRAIG, c.1936.
The Graig Shipping Co. Ltd. was founded in 1919 by Idwal Williams and is today one of Cardiff's two surviving shipping firms. The Graig, built at Port Glasgow in 1924, was the second vessel in the fleet to carry that name, which is Welsh for 'rock'. She was wrecked on the coast of Nova Scotia on 4 May 1940.
