Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'A Fix', showing two seated male figures playing draughts at a table outside a cottage door while a female figure holding a small child looks on to one side, a broom is propped against a barrel to the other side, around the bottom of the scene is the inscription "A. FIX", the print enclosed by a narrow circular line border. The glaze crazed, the flange slightly chipped.
