Roman copper alloy lorica segmentata lobate hinge
Remains of both leaves of the hinge still joined by the axial bar. Each is formed from a sheet wrapped round this bar. Both have a central triangular cut out, beyond which they are broken. Two dome headed rivets remain on one leaf and there are corresponding rivet holes on the other.
