Stoneware teabowl, wheel thrown, applied decoration. Foot with high footring, cup shaped form waisted under rim and slightly pressed in on either side behind each applied fish. Applied decoration on either side of a small fish with incised scales and tail, swimming upwards. Three shallowly incised grooves below rim, filled with glaze. Thickly coated in a mottled brown and green ash glaze, foot ring unglazed.
