cream silk damask with bunches of pink roses, yellow floral motifs & ferns woven into the fabric; hand sewn & boned; back opening has rows of circular eyelet holes for lacing; part of the yellow lacing tape survives; traces of thread indicate that the neck would have been trimmed with lace.
