Pennant
Pennant commemorating the 7th anniversary of the 1979 revolution in Nicaragua. With printed inscription: 'A 7 años, seguimos de frente / en lucha por la paz / UNE / NICARAGUA LIBRE 1986'.
Shield-shaped pennant made of undyed tabby woven cotton, printed in red and black with a blue border along the unfinished edges. Single turn-back along upper edge, stitched with white thread. An off-white plastic straw has been inserted through the resulting channel which is slightly longer than the channel and protrudes by c.4mm. Blue synthetic braid has been machine stitched to either side of the top edge for hanging.
