Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Mr Owen William Humphreys and three other men sitting on the ‘Malwoden Lwyd’ car gwyllt in the yard at Gilfach Ddu, National Slate Museum, Llanberis in July 1977. Mr Owen William Humphreys was a steward at Dinorwig Quarry between 1946 and 1969 (when the quarry closed he became redundant). The photograph was taken in 1977 - five years after the museum had opened.
