Iron Age ceramic crucible
Complete conical ceramic crucible with pointed base and D-shaped handle.
Moderately thin walls, thinning further towards the rim. Sub-circular mouth with pouring lip suited to a right-handed worker. Handle roughly D-shaped with a dimple on each face. Large agglomerations of vitrified material on top, and down one side, of the handle. Beads of vitrified material adhere to the same side of the body. Surface is spalled and cracked in places.
