Fuddling-cup, red earthenware, consisting of three small cups which are conjoined with a fourth small cup in the centre of them, a fifth cup which would also have been connected to the central cup is missing, each cup is roughly similar, standing on a spreading pedestal foot with bulbous lower body and cylindrical upper body flaring to a rounded lip-rim, the three exterior cups have prominent moulded scrolls to the lower body and the remains of narrow intertwining handles which must once have linked the cups, there is substantial damage to all four remaing cups, with central cup in particular missing much of its upper section; the whole structure covered with a lead and manganses glaze giving a mottled brown effect.
