Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Oak bardic chair awarded to Iorwerth C. Peate at the Inter-college eisteddfod held in Aberystwyth in 1923. It was made by the Pontypridd Furnishing Company who supplied similar bardic chairs to other local eisteddfodau during this period.
The back panel has a dragon and bears an inscription. There are leaf and flower motifs on the front seat on either side of back panel. Turned front legs. Plain back legs. The arm supports are turned.
