Combined wash tub and mangle. Cast iron frame with a wooden wash tub below and a pair of wooden rollers above. There is a handle on the left that turns a wood and brass wire mesh drum inside the wooden wash tub. A handle on the right turns the mangle rollers. Brass twist clips keep a removable section (door) of the wash drum in position. There is a brass tap on the front of the wash tub. Original colour seems to have been red as there are traces of dark red paint on the iron and wood work. Copper nails have been used to fix part of the top of the wash tub in place.
