Ice-cream pail
Ice-cream pail, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy buff translucency, and partially crackled glaze; standing on four bun feet, rounded base, cylindrical body with a slightly everted lip, and two upturned rectangular handles; painted with an all-over pattern of stylised cornflower sprigs in overglaze blue enamel, with round green leaves, and gilt trefoil leaf sprigs; gilt detail to handles, gilt bands to the bun feet, and gilt dentil lip.
