Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
This cremation was found with a collection of decorated bone inlays (2025.66H/4.3), these could represent a box that the remains were buried in or with. There was also chicken bone, iron hobnails and 2nd-3rd century Roman pottery associated with the burial.
The individual was a young adult (17-25). Identified elements include the skull, teeth, arms, hands. vertebrae, pelvis and legs. The colour is 20% white, 65% blue/grey, 5% black and 10% unburnt.
