Scratch on right toe. Cotton laces, metal eyelets on lace holes (six pairs of eyelet holes). Smooth leather soles;. Crcular metal and rubber additional reinforcement on heels, added at later date. Suppliers' stamp inside: 'C.W.S' (Co-operative Wholesale Society).
