Memorial medal depicting Henry Frederick, Prince of Wales (19 February 1594 – 6 November 1612). Prince Henry was the elder son of James I. He was seen as a promising heir to the throne, however, he died at the age of 18 from typhoid fever. His younger brother Charles succeeded their father to the throne in 1625.
