S.S. SAMVIGNA (7021gt). Built 1944 by J.A. Jones Construction Co., Brunswick, Georgia (engine by General Machinery Corp., Hamilton, Ohio), for US War Shipping Administration, managed for MoWT by Hain Steamship Co., London. 1948 Returned to US Maritime Commission and laid up at Mobile, Alabama. She was broken up at Mobile in 1960.
