Plate, no footring, transfer-printed on-glaze in purple manganese with a cutter in sail; a small ship to left and to right. Densely patterned border of quatrefoiles within diapers, interspersed with semi-circles of radiating petals, lacy inner border of semi-circles and pendant drops. Rim enamelled orange.
