Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into cushion moulded and curved spreading sides; lobed lip with six large and six small lobes, and moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; groove moulded cavetto; painted within the cavetto with a harbour scene - ships in harbour and figures loading a boat, standing and sitting on the side; moulded border detailed in gilt, with sprays of three pink roses on a gilt dotted ground with the c-scrolls.
