Roman intaglio (Dramatic Muse)
Convex, oval of cornelian. Depicts Dramatic Muse standing right, with drapery around legs. Her right foot is raised on a stone. Her face is covered with a (? comic) mask and she looks down on another (?tragic) mask which she holds in her right hand. In her left hand is a wand.
