St Fagans Castle

Large whitewashed manor house with many windows and a driveway in front encircling a central garden feature.

St Fagans Castle is a Grade I listed building. It’s called a castle to this day because it was built on the ruins of an old Norman motte and bailey castle and to this day also remains a distinguished event venue.

Ideally suited for weddings, ceremonies and intimate special occasions, the Castle has two main spaces for hire.

The Castle Hall is a grand ceremony setting, decorated in dark oak with an intricately carved chimneypiece bearing the family coat of arms, and can host up to 50 for a ceremony.

The bright and elegant Dining Room, completed in 1896, can host up to 60 guests in a variety of set-ups. Whether taking your vows or gathering friends and family for an intimate occasion of dining and celebration, or even hosting a meeting to impress, you won’t find a more versatile space in an historic venue. Modern AV equipment and Wi-Fi are available.

These spaces pair perfectly in the summer with the gardens for a truly grand event within the castle grounds.

The castle can be accessed either via a short walk from the main building on site or via the gates from St Fagans village. Car access and parking through the castle courtyard and driveway are also possible.
