Upper Foyer, Galleries and Balcony

Two people stand on a balcony overlooking a body of water, with leafy trees and buildings in the background under a clear sky.

The Upper Foyer is a large 360 gallery space with exhibits surrounding the stairwell with glass doors opening onto the Marina Balcony. The balcony opens to views across Swansea Marina and its vessels. The space offers a relaxing private aspect above the hustle and bustle of Marina life.

The Upper Foyer also boasts an ever-popular Digital wall. Display a vista of your and your partners’ corporate logos. It is also popular with wedding couples for displaying photos at drinks receptions.

Ideal for receptions and/or events up to 200.

The New Gallery, another available for hire, displays some of the Museum’s most fascinating industrial objects including a steam engine, a 1907 plane and coal wagon. This unique setting provides a great talking point for an evening reception.

Our venue is fully accessible with lifts to all levels and access toilets located throughout the museum.
