Aberfan 60: Teaching Resources

Explore the history, legacy and lasting significance of the Aberfan disaster through a new collection of learning resources created to mark Aberfan 60. Designed to help schools explore this history in a thoughtful and sensitive way, the resources draw on objects, stories and archives from our collections and include digital learning materials, teacher guidance and professional learning content.

The resources form part of Stori Cymru, a national programme funded by Adnodd and led by Amgueddfa Cymru in partnership with heritage and cultural organisations across Wales, including the National Library of Wales, RCAHMW, Cadw, Cyfartha Castle and more.
