The latest museum to benefit from the project is Cyfarthfa Castle Museum and Art Gallery, which is acquiring a hoard of five Roman denarii. The coins, which were found in Vaynor community, will be the first treasure objects to be acquired by the museum.

One of our objectives at The Saving Treasures; Telling Stories Project is to encourage people to report the findings to the Portable Antiquities Scheme in a responsible way.
