The investigation improves science and numeracy skills by getting pupils out of the classroom planting, observing, and keeping weather records. The project is delivered in English and Welsh and suitable for learners in cities, towns, and rural locations.

Since 2005, pupils across the UK have planted bulbs and tracked their growth—building a useful dataset that shows how climate change is affecting our environment. Since the project began 98,000 climate scientists from 2,800 schools have planted 200,000 bulbs!

This Is What You Need to Do
Applications are now full!
Participating schools will receive their resource pack by early October
Schools will plant their bulbs in October and take weather records from November to March
Schools will enter their weather and flower data to this website, feeding into our nationwide study.
