Course:Beginners Basketmaking: Zarzo Baskets
The Zarzo basket is a beautiful Willow Basket which originates in Spain, developed from the design for Catalonian Cheese draining Trays.
On this course you will learn the techniques to weave one of these beautiful naturally coloured willow baskets ideal for displaying fruit or eggs.
All tickets for this event must be purchased in advance.
You are welcome to bring a packed lunch or visit our on-site catering facilities. We can offer a 10% discount to course participants in our catering outlets* on production of your ticket. *(excludes Derwen Bakehouse)

This courses will be held at St Fagans National Museum of History. Use postcode CF5 6XB for navigation.
Parking
The price of this course includes parking. The ticketing team will contact you in the weeks leading up to your course with details (via the email address supplied at time of booking).

This course will be held in the first language of the facilitator - which is English.
Age Guidance
16+. (16-18 year olds must be accompanied by a participating adult)

Opening Hours
From 4 November until 28 February 2025, we will be open 10am-4pm every day.
Christmas and New Year: Closed from 2pm on 23 December. Closed 24 - 26 and 1 January.
Closed 8 January 2025 for staff training.
Parking
If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

- Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit.
