St Fagans National Museum of History, in collaboration with Kayd Somali Arts & Culture, is pleased to be hosting an intergenerational program of events dedicated to celebrating Somali heritage and cultural creativity, past, present, and future. Join us for an exciting line-up of activities, including children’s entertainment, panel conversations, a photography exhibition, intergenerational conversation, and unmissable musical and dance performances!

- 11:15am-12:30pm - A Somali Village in Colonial Bradford-Photography Exhibit & Panel Discussion With Fozia Bora, Chris Gaffney, Boodhari Warsame, Fozia Bora and moderated by Abira Hussein (Lecture Theatre)
- 12:45pm-1:30pm - Reach Project: Connecting Red Sea House Elders & Young People Intergenerational Discussion & Display with Samia Egeh (Atrium)
- 1:00pm-2:30pm - Children’s Entertainment with Zainab Dahir (Galool) (Studio 3)
- 1:30pm-2:15pm - Cali Guleed + workshop participants: 5 minutes discussing workshop, plus poetry readings (workshop participants and Cali - in English) (Atrium)
- 1:30pm-2:15pm - Poetry Workshop Readings with Cali Guleed (Atrium)
- 2:30pm-3:00pm - Buranbuur with Canab Cuud (Atrium)
- 3:00pm-4:00pm - Celebrating Somali Sound! Final Concert with Abdirahman Nasri and Nimco Degan (Atrium)
