Drop in sessions on 15, 19, 24,29,30 August and 10 September, 10:00 – 15:00
Suitable for: Ages 11 - 25. Young people of 16 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over.
A short, fun, and practical course to allow young people to engage with STEM and improve teamwork skills. Learners work in pairs to build a drag racer using basic electronic components. Learners follow easy instructions to build their device, supported and facilitated by our Rewise tutors. Learners then race their cars against the other teams to add a mild competitive element. This short course allows learners to see the results of their work in a small amount of time to help increase confidence and motivation.
These activities are being organised by Amgueddfa Cymru and the Federation of Welsh Museums & art Galleries as part of the Summer of Fun initiative, which is funded by the Welsh Government.
