During this talk Jake A Griffiths will explore the romanticising of the ordinary, gender expression and the misaligned concept of masculinity in history. This talk will also cover cultural subversion, repurposing imagery and how to reconnect with your history and heritage through a queer perspective.
Followed by a creative collaging activity.

Opening Hours
Our opening hours are changing for the winter season.
From Monday 4 November until Friday 22 February 2025, we will be open 10am – 4pm every day.
Parking
The National Waterfront Museum does not have a dedicated car park.
However, there are several pay and display car parks situated just a short walk from the Museum. You can find more information on car parking facilities here

- Our café is open, but providing a limited offer.
- The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
- You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches around the marina outside which make for a nice spot.
