Event:A Brief History of Banners
Join Reg Arthur for a whistle-stop talk examining banners, both contemporary and
traditional, and their role in social & cultural history. Reg will also discuss their own practice and banner making inspired by the workers movements in Wales.
The talk will be followed by a creative activity to design your own banner based on change you’d like to make in the world, community or self.

Opening Hours
Our opening hours are changing for the winter season.
From Monday 4 November until Friday 22 February 2025, we will be open 10am – 4pm every day.
Parking
The National Waterfront Museum does not have a dedicated car park.
However, there are several pay and display car parks situated just a short walk from the Museum. You can find more information on car parking facilities here

Eat, Drink, Shop
- Our café is open, but providing a limited offer.
- The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
- You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches around the marina outside which make for a nice spot.
