Event:Earth Day – Seed Swap, Talk and more!
Join us in the Museum GRAFT garden for a special Earth Day afternoon.
Featuring:
- 1-2pm - Seed and seedling Swap with GRAFT, Incredible Seed Library and Wales Seed Hub. Swap your own or add a donation to take your pick.
- 2pm - Talk “Seeds to share - How to save Open Pollinated seeds”, Join Maggie Carr around the fire pit (Incredible Seed Library and Wales Seed Hub)
- 1 – 3pm - Kids Make & Take – plant sunflower seeds in an eco hand made pot.
- 1 – 3pm – GRAFT Bach - for little ones, enjoy a pop up mud kitchen and a clay animals activity! Cae Tan lead child-led play to explore and connect with nature. They hope to inspire families to spend more quality time together outside and spark an interest in sustainable food growing.
- 1 – 3pm – GRAFT Bees – Meet GRAFT Apiarist (beekeeper) Alysson Williams who will share her epic bee knowledge. Alysson also runs a programme that teaches teens valuable skills in caring for the bees housed within the GRAFT Garden.
- Please note that come rain or shine, we can take the activities inside the museum if needed.

Opening Hours
Our opening hours are changing for the winter season.
From Monday 4 November until Friday 22 February 2025, we will be open 10am – 4pm every day.
Parking
The National Waterfront Museum does not have a dedicated car park.
However, there are several pay and display car parks situated just a short walk from the Museum. You can find more information on car parking facilities here

Eat, Drink, Shop
- Our café is open, but providing a limited offer.
- The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
- You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches around the marina outside which make for a nice spot.
