Exhibition:House to Home

National Waterfront Museum
Finished

Being creative can spark a sense of self, promote independence and confidence to enable individuals to develop a clearer outlook on their future. Many of those people who participated in art activities at Crisis found it increased their motivation and gave them the encouragement and self-esteem needed to move into education, volunteering, or employment.

The ‘House to Home’ exhibition showcases the potential of creativity to transform the narrative surrounding homelessness and inspires us to consider the role of creative industries in our everyday life.

This project was initially funded by The Oakdale trust and continued with support from UWTSD Widening Access Department.
