Event:Dementia Friendly Activity: Spring-time food and bulbs

National Waterfront Museum

Join us at the National Waterfront Museum for a relaxing session with Spring bulbs and light food with Shared Plate (a community kitchen).

The session involves:

  • A warm welcome in a dedicated space
  • An opportunity to take part in light food and craft activities
  • A warm drink and a chat

The session will take place within the museum so there are not any long distances to walk. It lasts approximately 2.5 hours with breaks and refreshments will be provided.

Information on accessibility at the National Waterfront Museum can be found here.

These opportunities are open to both those living with dementia and those supporting people living with dementia. Due to restricted numbers, and a want to reach as many individuals affected by dementia, we are unable to accept bookings from organisational representatives who would attend without supporting an individual to participate.

Booking is essential. To book a space, please register by clicking on the ‘Book tickets’ box to the right’. Alternatively, please use the contact details below.

Should travel be a barrier to you participating, support is available and can be discussed.

For more information, or to discuss any concerns you may have about joining us, please get in touch by email mims@museumwales.ac.uk or phone 029 2057 3418.
