The Food Festival Programme
From circus skills to talks, cookery demos and live music, there’s something for everyone at the Amgueddfa Cymru Food Festival!
Enjoy live music across two different stages curated by Amgueddfa Cymru Producers, BBC Horizons and Tafwyl.
Sustainability is at the heart of this year’s event and we’ve teamed up with Food Cardiff who will run a ‘Good Food’ activity area to celebrate and raise awareness of Cardiff’s Gold Sustainable Food Places bid. There’ll be activities for all the family to get involved in growing and cooking good food, no matter what your budget. Hosted by Food Cardiff with Beca Lyne-Pirkis (Cook, Presenter, Author & Star of Great British Bake Off), the zone will include workshops, demos, talks and activities.
Amongst some of the activities over the weekend are learning activities supported by the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. From making butter to milking cows and Victorian cooking, visitors can enjoy taking a step back in time.
With 80 stalls, there’s plenty of delicious food and drink for you to discover. Check out the list of traders on our website.
Our interactive map is now live allowing you to plan your visit and make the most of your time at the museum.
