St Fagans Food Festival - Latest News

If you're joining us for St Fagans Food Festival on 12 & 13 September, here are some important things to know ahead of your visit. 

Reusable cups  

We’ll be using reusable cups on our bars again this year. You’ll need to pay £1 for your first cup and then you’ll be given a clean cup at the bar when you order your next drink. You can take the cup home with you as a souvenir, or you can choose to donate it back to the museum by leaving it in one of our designated bins.  

Water Bottles  

Don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle with you to the museum. There are plenty of water stations for you to fill up. You can find all of the water points on the festival map.  

Map  

The festival map is now online for you to plan your visit. The map includes all the important info including the location of food and drink stalls, activities, water taps and toilets.

Travel info  

We’re expecting the car park to be busy for this event so please car share where you can. Please respect our neighbours and do not park in St Fagans village or on the surrounding roads.  

Thanks to Cardiff Bus, there’ll be an additional service to help you get back and forth to the festival. There’ll be two extra services on Saturday 12 September with buses leaving the museum and travelling to Cardiff at 3.30pm and 4.45pm. It will be free to travel on the additional service!  

On Sunday 13 September there’ll be a free bus service running between St Fagans and Cardiff with the last bus departing the museum at 3.45pm.  

Card Payments  

All stallholders will accept card payments but it’s a good idea to bring some cash in case you want to treat yourself to some baked goods from Derwen Bakery. There isn’t a cash point at the museum so please plan ahead.

Entry to the festival is free. Parking costs £7 all day.
