Live Music

13 September

12:00-16:00

Due to the forecasts of high winds and heavy rain on Sunday 14 September, we have made the decision to close the Museum early at 4pm to help ensure the safety of all visitors, traders and staff.

Some activities scheduled to take place outside will be cancelled, including the live music. Apologies for any disappointment.

Locations: Cockpit (20), Tannery (29), Oakdale Workmen's Institute (24) and across site

Bloedd is taking over the music line-up again this year, curating a genre-blending mix of pop-up and roaming performances across the festival grounds. More about Alexandra Jones, the Music Promoter for this year's festival:
"Hi, I’m Alexandra Jones and I'm based in Blackwood, South Wales. For the past four years, I’ve worked across the Welsh music scene in events, promotion, and youth music organisations. I’m thrilled to be starting a new role with Anthem Cymru Music Charity at the end of June, continuing my journey in supporting music across Wales.

This year, I’m especially excited to be collaborating with Bloedd and Amgueddfa Cymru as a promoter and booker for the St Fagans Food Festival. The festival promises a vibrant celebration of music and culture, with live performances spread across multiple iconic locations at the museum, including the Tannery, Cockpit, Oakdale Institute and more!"
