BSL Tour of the Museum
13 September
12:00-13:30
Location: Sign up & start the tour from Cilewent Field (opposite no.46)
St Fagans explores all aspects of how people in Wales live, work and spend their leisure time.
This free tour for adult D/deaf visitors and users of BSL will take a walk through the open air museum, to learn about some of the buildings that have been moved to St Fagans and their significance. To join the tour, please go to the Deaf Tent in Cilewent Field before 12pm to sign up. The tour will also start from this location.
The relaxed tour will be delivered in British Sign Language (BSL). Tour guide: Emily Rose Corby.
This tour will focus on St Teilo's Church and Llys Llywelyn. These buildings are in a quiet area of the site, and give the opportunity to find out more about the Museum away from the hustle and bustle of the Food Festival. Please note that the car park and other areas around the Museum will be very busy during this weekend.
Caution: Due to the nature of the site, there is uneven ground, slippery paths, slopes and grassed areas in places. Please watch your step and wear suitable footwear. Please refer to St Fagans' website & Food Festival webpage for all accessibility needs.
Spaces are limited - first come first served.
This is the first of a series of BSL Tours that will be organised throughout the year. Keep an eye on the Museum's website for more information and future dates.
