You’ll be able to meet scientists and engineers from Amgueddfa Cymru and Cardiff University and explore loads of fun, interactive activities all while being in the museum after dark!

What Can I Do?

  • Come and meet Mermaid Joanne – a marine biologist with a difference! – she’ll chat to you about the sea.

  • Find out how engineers design robots that can crawl through pipes, climb trees or survive underwater.

  • Test out your coding skills in our robotzone

  • Explore your creativity and sustainability through upcycled crafts

  • Find out all about trolls, elves and giant blue jets in the upper atmosphere in the Lightning Exhibition

  • Try your hand at orthopaedic surgery – with a sonic screwdriver!#

  • Rustle up a bug-based recipe and try a tasty critter

  • Find out about the impacts of plastic on marine life – and what you can do about it

  • Use a microscope to examine pollen or snails

  • Take a Million Year Time Trip by getting hands-on with some fossils

  • And lots more!

The museum café and shop will be open during the evening for some snacks and treats.
