Event:Behind the Scenes: Some Recent Prehistoric Treasure Finds from Wales
Led by curator and archaeologist Adam Gwilt, this is a chance to see some Bronze Age and Iron Age treasure finds recently added to the national collection. The visit will take you to Archaeology’s artefact study room, where much of the work on the collection takes place, also providing a glimpse of the main archaeology store. You will find out about museum work involved with reporting treasure and in revealing new knowledge and stories about finds reported by members of the public each year in Wales.
Booking Information
- The tour will last for approximately 60 minutes. Please meet at the Ticketing Desk in the Main Hall.
- The tour costs £8 per person.
- The tour will be in the curator's first language which is English.
- Due to the behind-the-scenes nature of the tour there will be some spaces which will require you to be in close proximity to other visitors and the curator.
- Tickets are non-refundable, and no refunds or exchanges will be given to latecomers.
