Our Quiet Hour invites visitors to enjoy the galleries in a peaceful, low sensory environment designed to reduce noise and distractions.
Whether you’re looking for a more relaxed visit, need a space that supports sensory comfort, or simply prefer a slower pace, this is your time to explore, reflect, and unwind.
What you can expect during our Quiet Sessions:
• Ticketed to ensure visitor numbers are kept at a comfortable level
• Drinks are served in paper cups
• No background music
• Allocated quiet rooms available for visitors to use
• Ear defenders and sensory backpacks for adults and children available to borrow
• Wheelchairs available to borrow
• Tannoys turned off
• Hand dryers in the toilets turned off
• Staff on hand to support as required
Tickets must be booked in advance.
