Our Quiet Hour invites visitors to enjoy the galleries in a peaceful, low sensory environment designed to reduce noise and distractions.
Whether you’re looking for a more relaxed visit, need a space that supports sensory comfort, or simply prefer a slower pace, this is your time to explore, reflect, and unwind.
What you can expect during our Quiet Sessions:
- Ticketed to ensure visitor numbers are kept at a comfortable level
- Drinks are served in paper cups
- No background music
- Allocated quiet rooms available for visitors to use
- Ear defenders and sensory backpacks for adults and children available to borrow
- Wheelchairs available to borrow
- Tannoys turned off
- Hand dryers in the toilets turned off
- Staff on hand to support as required
