Evans, Mrs Britannia (née Mainwaring)
Born in 1893. Married to William Henry Evans, a colliery stonemason, who made a quilting frame for his wife. They raised three children in Abercynon. Following her husband's death in 1962, she moved to London to live with her daughter, where she stayed until her death in 1983.
