Lloyd, T.A. ('Telynor Ceiriog')
Tom Lloyd (1858-1917), who used the bardic name 'Telynor Ceiriog' - 'Harpist of Ceiriog', was well-known as a harp player and tutor in his part of Wales. He taught renowned 20th century triple-harpist Nansi Richards Jones. He was a native of the former slate-quarrying village of Llangynog, in Montgomeryshire, mid-Wales. He was buried at the nearby church of Pennant Melangell, but spent a good deal of his life in Pennsylvania, and clearly he lived in West Pawlet, Vermont, in 1893.
