KARLOWSKA, Stanislawa de
Born in Poland, Karlowska studied art in Warsaw and Krakow and at the Academy Julian in Paris in mid-1900's. She married the painter Robert Bevan and they settled in London. They were both founder members of the London Group, with whom they exhibited for many years.
