Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
The prototype of the souenir chair designed by Mr John Pound, prinicpal design officer with the Supplies Division of the Ministry of Public Buildings and works. 4,600 of these chairs were made in for seating guests inside Caernarfon Castle at the investiture. It is estimated that 500 million people watched the ceremony on television.
