Tureen and cover
Tureen and cover, greyish blue oriental hard-paste porcelain, poor translucency; the tureen tub-shaped, circular with straight sides, on a shallow foot-rim, with two gadrooned shell handles; shallow domed cover with a prominent pomegranate finial; decorated on each side with the arms of Stepney of Llanelli, baronets, with the Princes of Powis Fadog for Lloyd in pretence, between European flower sprigs, shell handles partly gilt with floral sprays below, gold spearhead border lined in red; arms repeated on the cover between similar famille rose flowers and border, finial painted in red and puce and gilded.
